My Thoughts on the Milwaukee M12 Fuel Die Grinder at Last Best Tool

I've had this Milwaukee M12 Fuel Die Grinder for about six months now and here are my thoughts. In general, the thing is amazing if you do only those things it does well. If you push it hard you will quickly hit the edges of what this thing is capable of. Oh, and bring plenty of extra batteries. And the switch is terrible. So yes, I love it.

Really impressed with this right angle. I do not have a big compressor, and this runs forever compared to a few minutes on my little 30 gallon compressor with an air die grinder. Let the tool do the work, purchase the appropriate discs and it will handle most jobs. I have and use both of these, keepers in my book.

I wonder if it has sort of like a rheostat switch inside that your able to adjust the sensitivity of the pressure on the wheel, you know those little switches soldered into the circuit board that takes a tiny tiny flat head to adjust... Actually im thinking its called a potentiometer switch, the ones ive had to adjust are for cameras lens on embroidery sewing machines. Congratz on breaking your 100 subscribers! I feel like you're gonna be where Catus Maximus is in no time! You guys both put out neat videos that are similar in style but not exactly the same or the same type of content.

I've been considering getting one of these, so this video is very helpful. I'm having a tough time with the price.

Doc, you had me sold on getting an M12 vacuum cleaner, but then I read so many on-line comments about it not having enough power. Please address that if you have a minute; I guess I'm expecting you to say, "it's great for what it is."

Finally, I agree with Yota Doug about you breaking the 100 subs barrier - congrats. I am quite surprised at the slow pace getting subscribers. I would have thought with all the high subscriptions of all the other tool channels, and with the high quality content and high release rate, that you would have shot up way faster. It will happen, though, I'm sure...

I agree completely. I love mine but don’t test its sensitivity.

It's better than an air powered die grinder. It's designed for the same tasks and this isn't nearly as loud and is much safer.

Battery tools are junk. Air tools are 17-1 better.
