Using a Raspberry Pi shouldn’t be complicated.

The Raspberry Pi can be connected to an iPad to use it as an external monitor.
A wireless solution is to use an app like VNC to remotely control the Pi.
But in this video, I'll show you a better way.
No computer is required, everything can be set up from the iPad.

Pls try one with wired connection. In that way it opens up a lot of possibilities and reduces latency

How you suppose to get the raspberry pi ip address from iNet scanner when you need the raspberry Pi connected to your internet first before iNet can show it in the list? So how you get the raspberry pi ip address when the sdcard has just put in the Pi?

Music volume is too high, or your voice too low.
Also that rgb/vga video connector is upside down that is why it doesnt fit in the ipads port :P

Very nice and charming with spoken English with a heavy French accent! Though when neither language is your mother tongue then the background music overlay upon this really becomes an obstacle! I'll see if my patiance will take me through this ... accordingly I can not give you any score for this video yet ...

Question I'm new to iPad and raspberry pi for homekit. I don't have internet where I live. So I have to connect with PoE. I have a switch ( I guess this what they call network ) today I connect my PoE security from the outside. My next purchase is to buy a doorbell with PoE in the back ( not ring. It from eBay ), I want to buy a led light strip I bought separate parts such two pin with 12v female then a male 12v connector with a ethernet adapter. Which will be powered by PoE. Next I need to get a iPad mini ( not sure which one to connect ?) All these would be connected and control to the iPad. Would I need to connect pi to the switch? Or the iPad? And would this steps help me connect my devices?
