How to Apply Wallpaper Using Contact Paper!

Here's how to apply wallpaper using contact paper! What?! Follow the directions on the package and apply to a clean, dry wall. To make sure it doesn't drip off over night, press the contact paper onto the wall really well with a large sponge or putty knife. Easiest way to transform a small space!

I am curious to hear the process of getting the paper to end evenly on wall corners/near trim or moulding. Is it hard to get an even cut with scissors? And I noticed you spread the paper right over the light switch. Was it hard to cut it out that way? I've never even wallpapered before so hence the detailed questions :)

Do you think you could do a sample of this somewhere else to show us a removal? I'm renting in military housing so I move a lot and can't paint. This would be a great option if it is easily removable and won't leave a residue.

Normal wallpaper is applied vertically. It seems like the contact one is always the opposite which seems harder to do .

Not so simple really. Wish you had shown from the start and also appears that you cut the 2nd strip too short! Would've been nice to see all the reality!
