Here you can see my second version of my Arduino - Android TCP communication Tutorial, which now is fully bidirectional.
An embedded and lightweight TCP-IP Server is running on the Arduino. The Smartphone is connected to that server and sends/recieves commands using a task, which is the best way to handle socketconnections on an Android Phone.
