Pixel 6a user here. I don't really know what google is doing. They seem to be just making UI tweaks here and there but they're not even working on features offered by competitors. Why wouldn't Google work on Lock Screen Widgets, Resizable Quick Settings buttons and much more. Look at OneUI, Google certainly lacks innovation these days. They introduced themed icons in Android 12, I don't understand why we still don't have an option to force apply for all apps. Google certainly needs to scale up more.

People are always expecting new UI changed with every update and thats not how it works. Imaigne if every year ios and android changed UI elements. The OS would look inconsistent across versions. Android right now is more mature and it's focusing mainly on make rhe system more stable, something we should really appreciate instead of asking for "new ui changes" every year

Does it still take a screen shot of the last screen shot thumbnail? I notice if you take two screenshots in succession without allowing the screenshot thumbnail and action buttons to disappear, the second screenshot will show the thumbnail. Samsung and iPhones don’t do this. They will not include that layer. These small things are important.

Do we really need a new version of Android every year at this point? The changes have been pretty small since Material You in 2021 and even that was mostly just appearances, the core of android didn't really feel that different. I'd totally be happy with just security patches for a couple of years if it means extending support for my devices.

I wished when i screenshot multiple times, the mini screenshot from the bottom of thr screen wouldn't be seen. its so annoying i have to swipe to dismiss so it won't show in other screenshots

I'm hoping to see some screenshot editor changes. I hate the crop zoom is limited and I have to go to photos so I get zoom after cropping...

Also can't change the size of the marker with the screenshot editor...

The adaptive timeout seems to be tailor made for when you put the phone in your pocket, or on a table facing down. Small optimization but worth having it.

I bet the Themed icons toggle would still show in Beta even after 3 years. Even some of Google's own apps struggle to keep the Material U theme. Sad state of affairs for Google

I'm so proud of Google 's early plans for android 15. Apple only works on the iOS look and UI, Google works on adding exciting features that were never seen before 🔥🔥🔥

Hey, thanks for the video! What do you thinkg of Something where pixel people could ask for more features would be great. Like VIP contacts or wireless webcam mode would be awesome and not as complicated as desktop mode

So far beta 3 feels smoother than beta 2. But the double line display for app list isn't working for me personally.

And I think many are still waiting for the notification panel redesign.
