I have never played one, but I have always liked their T-models more, aesthetics-wise. They look very cool.

A friend of mine had an S- and a T-model (the high-end ones) and was very happy with both. But now he owns two Nik Hubers and he's even happier...

Congrats Micah: 1st sensible comment on this vid. Congrats to Henning: most colourful outfit! Guitar seems worth the money? Nope! Can it compete with Yamaha Pacifica/Hb fusion at the same price point? Definately not! imo it's a $300 guitar. Sounds very good though and looks good! Thanks Henning!

25:08 my Fender Player strat stays in tune, no problem. It's rock solid. There is absolutely no need to "upgrade the tuners", as you said. It's the last thing you should do on a guitar, when you're experiencing tuning stability issues.

Cool looking and sounding guitar! Love the little design in the scratchplate. I tend to play a lot of partscasters which I've put together with €30 necks from ebay and that string-under-the-fret thing used to happen all the time - so frustrating! Shame to see it happen on a guitar in this price range though

The trem [vibrato] arm feels long and thin and weird. She said.
Price wise this is in the Sire Larry Carlton S7 bracket (€555), which has roasted maple, locking tuners, rolled fingerboard edges, bone nut - at least on paper more impressive specs. I like the wooden pickguard and backplate, but that's not enough of a reason to buy a guitar :-)

I really like the look of this guitar. Awesome! It sounds okay. Give it better tuners and a better nut i would say.

On a Strat style headstock you don't need to do a scarf-joint because the headstock is not tilted just offset a bit. It gets CNC'd out of an single piece of wood.
The fretboard is different wood so that is clearly the piece number two.
The maple in the middle is like an much bigger skunk stripe, which usually don't count but as it seems to be so much bigger yeah it probably counts as 3 Piece.

What I mean is you are definitely not that wrong, but an scarf-joint on an neck with an Fender style (non tilted) headstock would be very strange and very unexpected. The reason Fender designed it this way back than was to reduce the costs from the scarf-joint while still being able to use cheaper and thinner wood-pieces. Downside is you need string trees most of the time - which are still much cheaper than scarf-joining but bring new compromises.


Enough with technical stuff, and I still love you. As I saw you thumbnail and beginning of the video I thought ok another one >2000€ guitars that I definitely wont buy because of the price. Then I googled parallel and same time you said the price I saw it online and didn't believed it.
It looks gooood. An changed and very good looking design and not just another exact copy at that price? Damn. Hopefully Thoman starts selling them, and please make sure to add an affiliate link in the description once they do.

Hi Henning. I have a Magneto Eric Gales signature model. It's the best Strat that I've ever played. Better than a Fender Custom Shop.

seems really nice, but, i have to ask YET AGAIN Why can't we have a guitar like this, with HSS that comes with a Hardtail??
