Transportation Problem Theory and Important Terms are discussed in this video. Transportation Problem in Operations Research is a special type of Linear Programming problem. In this video, important terms are discussed from a point of view of transportation problem theory. Terms like feasible solution of a transportation problem, optimal solution of a transportation problem, basic feasible solution of a transportation problem, loops and dependency in solution of a transportation problem are explained with examples. It also includes the limitations of using simplex method to solve transportation problem. This video will be helpful to students in their GATE preparation.
