For the last problem, you could have just plugged in the value of X since it is known after dividing 256/8, which equaled 32? So ... 30X32=960 (rewritten as 960+4y=1040) Then subtract 960 from both sides (rewritten as 4y=80) Then finally divide 4 on both sides getting y=20. Seems much easier this way!
