Doctors in Kolkata protested against the rape and murder case of a PG trainee doctor at RG Medical College and Hospital that runs by the state government. As a protest, hundreds of medical students and junior doctors carried out a candle march on Monday, August 12. Protesting doctors were demanding a magisterial inquiry into her death. Carrying out the march they chanted “We want justice” slogans and showed placards on the streets outside the college.
