Just so people know and feel comfortable, this is just a fun horror video made for entertainment. It’s supposed to be scary and unsettle you, but it cannot actually harm you. It just wants to make you feel like it can. It’s like a horror movie, it does its best to startle you. Don’t feel like you have to watch it if you’re uncomfortable, but also don’t be afraid if you have watched it. It’s a YouTube video, and if it were dangerous it wouldn’t be so readily available. Also, if you want to feel better about it know there’s whole groups of people who simp for the monster and make funny edits of it, and nothing bad has ever happened to them. It’s a monster made in photoshop and it’s scary voice is someone with a voice filter played backwards.

No one had actually been paralyzed, and you won’t be either. It’s a number that was made up for the story of the video. Approach it not from the angle that it’s really dangerous, but from the perspective of someone enjoying a scary story. The creator of it is a really talented 17 year old horror artist who makes a lot of similar unsettling monster stories, none of which are real.

Addition: To anyone still concerned I can assure you I just woke up from going to bed in my pitch black room for the night. My door never opened and I never saw any monster. The only interruption to my sleep was my cat jumping on the bed, and I was mobile enough to pet him while half asleep. I’m not paralyzed, haunted, hurt, or otherwise and I watched the video multiple times without any of the precautions. Everything in it is just a spooky spectacle. You’ll be fine :)

Is it concerning that the feeling that these videos give me are nostalgic and comforting because I used to feel that all the time when I was a kid.
I still remember sitting in my bed and staring at the dark corner of my room with that feeling deep inside of me.
The feeling also makes me remember sitting in the staircase, staring at my parents sitting on the couch and watching a movie. Now that might not sound scary, but at the moment I remember I had a lot of scary and terrifying experiences going on and nobody believed me (mind you I was like 6-8).
Plus, I had a lot of nightmares that left me traumatized and scarred.
