This is supposed to be a hardcore offroader/lifestyle vehicle with added practicality, then why would they give an ALL WHITE In any car, it's a task to maintain, but in a car that's meant to get dirty, I hope it doesn't become a deal-breaker for some.

I did 3 20 hours plus drive on my manual XUV300 (Jog falls and return 22 hours, Kanyakumari to Navi Mumbai 24 hours, Kozhikode to Navi Mumbai in about 17-18 hours flat) that has heavy steering, no dead pedal and of course a manual gearbox.. never felt tired.. guess, it's the love!

For me, the 3 door Thar is still better for overlanding with some adjustments in the suspension setup.

Excellent comparison, rather I would say, functionality test of the product, the mahindra dealers should see this video to train their sales person to actually understand the product difference.

We test drove the Thar 3 door again after buying Scorpio N as primary. And My God! The 3 door sucks so bad, we wanted to replace our i20 and thought petrol automatic rwd would suit us best, I’ve never been more disappointed in life, not even by my ex.

Hi Sheeresh, as you and your team drove both 4*2 and 4*4 diesel automatic versions, is there any difference you feel in punch of both engines as they have separate set of tune i.e power and torque figures, 150 vs 170 or 330nm vs 370nm, because on paper it seems a lot of difference, what is your real life experience? Also please mention the version you drove in this comparo!
Thankyou.

@evoIndia Shirish no one is comparing the Roxx to softop 3 door. I own one and that open top feel is big differentiator now compared to Roxx as hardtop’s value prop still overlaps with that of Roxx . Would be great if you can get a thar convertible softop to compare with Roxx and highlight differences

Excellent comparison, Roxx 19 inch tyre's aren't they prone to sidewall cuts ? Is there nose dive during braking.

02:40 that 50 mm more width means 5 centimetres..ie 2 each centimetres more for fender flares..thats it

The acceleration should be done in sea level track as at Pune that ambient pressure is lower. Also the ambient temperature effects the air viscosity hence the time also.
