The devs need to realise that we can’t dedicate our lives to grinding for some stupid creature.
Most players have school or work, and don’t have the time to grind for every single new creature.
It is disgusting that the devs keep doing this, I can’t express my anger enough

Remember when creatures were all put in the carni, omni and herbi gacha and just costed 65 shrooms and some luck? Miss it

Some tips for the grind:
1. Be a euvias
2. Place burrow at your desired shrine
3. Place burrow at full meat spawner
4. Shove all that meat into your burrow
5. Give it all to the shrine
(If you have a private server, leaving and rejoining refills all the spawners)

At this point, the devs should just outright say that they want our money. If you wanna make creatures that are a bit harder to get, thats fine and good! But for the love of god at LEAST make the system actually enjoyable to play with and not absurdly difficult. "Economy" shouldnt come before the overall enjoyment your players get from playing the game. LISTEN to the players, because they have the game's best interests at heart.

I wish the artifacts did a continuous discount based on the original price of the creature and not the current price based on preexisting artifacts you’ve collected.

The price decrease recently and probably will continue to decrease. I got mine relatively fast just out of sheer determination. I also sold it for 20k and a boreal. I do plan on getting a second a trex for myself again.

I like the idea of grinding for creatures, i DONT like the idea that every new creature makes you grind more than the last, i think we need more small creatures more normal gacha ones and small stuff, other thing the math that artifacts uses is stupid, i have 89 small air artifacts and 4 big ones, not just still in 19k price the bird but also is useless all the small artifacts 2% discount to the reduced price, maybe if the 40% was to actual price and 2% in original could be more fair

On paper it’s a pretty good idea. But in classic COS fashion, they have to ruin it. Megalo and Queze where fine, sure grindy, but atleast it isn’t the worst. Magnacetus and now Ghartokus are just painful and grindy. It took me 10+ hrs and alot of dedication to get magnacetus. I can’t imagine the pain and suffering it would take to get this new one.

I'm genuinely surprised you made your friend throw 5+ creatures at Ghar without even considering that its stats outright beat every single one except Hygos easily. Hygos only comes close thanks to photovore buff and slightly higher base dmg.
23k + fortify isnt a lot either.
Cause theres still heavier creatures like Empi, Magna, Eigion, Pace, Jabble, Gram, Gnol, Lmako, Lorolael, Venu, Boreal, Kavo, and Kora.

I literally just quit the game because they wouldn’t stop adding so much bullshit. Turned from a neat worldbuilding project to utter trash, every other week they release some cinematic bombastic new god creature that’s more powerful than the rest, and they are nowhere near inviting to new players. The only way to 100% the game is to go through the trouble of becoming a hella popular YouTuber and even then you’re probably gonna spend the next 2 months away from sunlight because they released another thing. Almost like magic, after I quit COS my grades went up, I started making more friends, my sleep schedule came back, and I had more fun now that it wasn’t the only thing I played.

Tha why I’ve stopped playing, to many creatures in an environment, doesn’t even feel like a alien world with this much variety. Not to mention most of the creatures barely even fit in with what the world feels like
