The goat has been getting me through this game smoothly since I was in middle school, 21 now and still killing it with all his content even beyond destiny. My guy!

Look at datto making a one and done video instead of stretching all this into a series of videos. A perfect guide for new players, thanks datto!

A very important note for bounty prep:
Dreaming City bounties have been fixed and give normal weekly exp now (12.000). There are *7 TOTAL WEEKLY BOUNTIES from Petra* on weekly rotation, the Ascendant Challenge bounties. Stacking them before a season/expansion will give you immense starting exp for your pass and artifact.

Note that you have to start 6 weeks prior since they are in rotation, but they take like 5 minutes each and a Tincture of Queensfoil to complete. Happy bounty prep, Guardians ;)

I love how this video reinforces my play style. Your "specific enemy type" section is literally _every_ exact location I go to when I need to farm them.

For exotic armor farming, if you wait for the easiest lost sector and run it while your engrams inventory is full the engrams will go to the postmaster. Wait for the daily lost sector to drop the armor slot you want to claim your engrams and they will be that.

Datto I know this might sound wierd from veteran players, but you should absolutely do a guide series on HOW to play D2. So many of my friends would play this game if they just had a semi decent tutorial.

Some notes:

For legendary shards, if you have excess Glimmer you can convert that into rare, blue quality transmat effects from collections; you can then turn those in to Amanda Holiday in the Hangar 3 at a time for legendary transmat effects which dismantle into 1 shard each. This is the best conversion of Glimmer into shards (from a pure currency perspective)

For weapon xp (and deepsight crafting material from red border weapons) just remember that when you do Shuro-Chi or Grasp to farm xp you get absolutely nothing else; if you still need any of the other farms like Umbral energy etc. you're better off doing both at the same time, since you'll otherwise do both separately and take twice as long

Finally, just a mention, Plundered Umbral armor focusing is significantly worse stats than Risen or Haunted focusing, so you're better off doing those where possible.

One thing not mentioned on weapon leveling is if the Weekly Cruicible gamemode Team Scorched is active equip your crafted guns. Since you don't use guns and instead a scorch cannon there is no stress to quick swap before the end of the game.

If you have A lot of the finest matterwaive go to the moon destination and try and find one of the chests that require you to shoot the runes in a certain order. Pop a FM and shoot the wrong symbol and it will spawn a knight, kill that knight and 9/10 times it will spawn a enhancement core. Keep doing this until you have enough cores or you run out of FM.

One thing Datto missed is that you can pull Blue armor from Collections, masterwork it to 8 Energy and dismantle it for 6 Enhancement Cores. I believe this costs you 3 enhancement cores and 1 enhancement prism to gain 6 cores

Helpful tip if you’re farming weapon XP at Shuro Chi, Golgoroth, etc: use deadfall tether (with orpheus rigs if you want) to kill enemies much faster, you will get the xp for killing all of them if they all die in the tether. This made farming weapons, especially special and heavy, much faster

Here's a trick I found works for level boosting Crafted Weapons. 1. Equip crafted weapons. 2. Enter activities like Vanguard, Crucible, Nightfall. 3. Play the playlists and the best part is you don't even have to use the weapon. Just having it equipped will add EXP. at the end of the activities. I've used this method to LVL boost my Rocket Launcher, Ammit AR2, Taipan-4R, and The Other Half. I carry as many crafted weapons on me so I can swap them out when I get to an appropriate level for Enhanced Traits. I don't make videos on my discoveries but I like your content and wanted to share this info. with you and your Audience. Great Channel! Keep the content dropping!

A great tip for people looking to farm high stat armor. Do the final boss of pit of heresy when it’s the rotation dungeon. It gives a guaranteed +16 in two stats so it’s easily the best farm for high stat armor when it’s up

Fill your engrams before doing legend/master lost sectors. They will go to postmaster and if you turn them in when the armor slot you need is in rotation you will get that piece. That way even if the day is easy but not what you need it will still help

4:22 FYI, the price of 400 shards per prism at Rahool does not change if you buy them in the same week, but you can only buy 3 prisms per week that way, if I remember correctly.

The increasing price was tied to an old trade for cores at Spider, and was replaced at the beginning of Beyond Light with fixed price cores, but limited per day I believe.

I can tell this video was meant to be more evergreen than what I'm about to suggest, but during this season, every 3 days there's a modifier on Master Nightfalls called Lightning Crystals that, when combined with a Striker Titan wearing Heart of Inmost Light and Touch of Thunder's upgraded Storm Grenades, trivializes most Master Nightfalls, even as a solo player (and the grenades are so strong they'll even burn a match game shield nigh-effortlessly). My record on solo Master Devil's Lair was a 13:14, for reference, and I'm hardly anything special. This makes farming Ascendant Shards, Enhancement Prisms, exotic armor, and various non-Adept Nightfall weapons (and legendary shards by extension) way easier, while also giving a zillion Zavala reputation for miscellaneous goodies (I'm at like 7-8 resets now).

As I'm writing, this week is Glassway, which is made actually difficult because it's also got Togetherness which nukes your health regen so you have to play much more cautiously, but hopefully next double-nightfall-rewards week is less bad for this farm!

I'll definitely be keeping an eye on the Nightfall modifiers in future seasons because of this.

For converting finest matterweave to cores: find the weekly puzzle chest on the moon. Don’t solve the puzzle! If you shoot the wrong runes, it spawns a yellow bar knight, which can drop a core if you have finest matterweave active. Blast the knight, pick up the core, pop a new matterweave, repeat. I think there’s a slight cooldown on the rune, but you can basically get a core every 10-20 seconds, depending on your luck and how long it takes you to get in and out of your menu. If you’re planning to farm a while, put on double shotguns/fusions and a sword/xeno (maybe a finder if you want) to keep from running out of ammo.

Another way to farm A TON of upgrade modules VERY QUICKLY is by completing The Witch Queen campaign missions on legendary. If you haven’t already completed missions on another character, it’s a great way to get upgrade modules fast. Each boss/ encounter will typically reward about 2-3 upgrade modules from the chests. Not every mission rewards the same amount, but doing 2-3 missions can easily net you 12-15+ upgrade modules.

Hope this helps!

For 5:04, an even better way would be to go to a character in which you haven’t done the first shadowkeep mission(the free one) and once at the section where you have to step on plates, you just kill adds(mainly the tralls) that spawn in. PLUS, there is INFINITE HEAVY AMMO SPAWNING, so now you can level up your specials and heavys much faster as well

Very well made. One very small thing to note is that when running shuro chi for farming, if you would like to make it more efficient you can use tether and drop it in the middle of a group of ads if you have a hunter. Yes if you get a kill in the tether it counts as the weapon getting the kill for everything that dies. Also space out the killing of the knights. Each one of the corresponds to a wave of thrall and if you kill all of them at once shuro will stop spawning thrall.
