Landing at LAX with a 1969 Cessna 172

This is a video of our flight from Santa Monica Airport (KSMO) to Los Angeles International Airport (KLAX) on Friday, May 1, 2020. We took advantage of the light air traffic at LAX to fly the Cessna over to Signature for a very unique experience. The LAX controllers were very friendly and accommodating and I would like to say a big thank you to them for that! While this is something that you can do at any time, the current situation allowed us to get sequenced in very quickly. We were given 24R in the north complex for arrival, then taxied through the Tom Bradley International alley, across the south complex to Signature. It made for a great tour of the airport from the ground. This is the full video from engine startup to engine shutdown at Signature FBO. See below for timestamps.

23:46 - Yep, there's the ole' in-n-out haha... And right across the street, you can see the little park where people, myself included, take videos of planes flying low overhead. Would've been hilarious to see a little Cessna go over. Thanks for sharing!

Great video! Flying from KABQ ->KPRC-> KSMO in June. Silly question, does your landing clearance imply the "clear through bravo" statement or do you need to hear the words independent of that (Maybe I missed it)
