FINAL FANTASY XV - Midgardsormr on PS5 4K 60fps

Im curious on how FFXV looks on latest gen consoles,PS5 and Xbox Series X so i did a quick comparison of my own. All recorded videos are in 4k 60fps.

Quick impression:

-to my untrained non-videophile eyes, XBOX Series X version seems a bit cleaner.

-however, Xbox Share function is incovenient as 4k 60 fps recorded clips cannot be shared and uploaded directly from the console and have to be done using laptop/computer. Ps Share is much more convient as clips can be edited and shared directly from the console. This is not related to visual but can be important for those who do video sharing.

This FF is amazing. Despite all the critics, the main problem is that they rushed some chapters on the mid game, and this really gave the impression that they gave up due to the enormous time on development... But still a great game, that reinvented the franchise and, for me, became remarkable as original FF7 was...

despite mixed opinons about this game, i actually really enjoyed playing FFXV. Combat was fun, character interactions were so endearing and great to listen to while adventuring, stopping at camps and making amazing meals, music, atmosphere, all of it i really loved. It may not be the best final fantasy, but this will forever be one of the best open world games i've ever played, and i honestly might buy it again for my pc

I love FF15 for a number of reasons, I love the feeling of comradery when you and the other party members fight, talk and just hang out. The world as a whole and feeling of just walking into a gas station to get equipment that feels like you're on an actual road trip. The major cities feel like real places and are teeming with people and shops around every corner.

The story is GREAT. Cliche, yes, but its a final fantasy through and through. We gotta expect "noble sacrifices" and cheesy speeches on never giving up with angsty plots and backstories. It's a great story that deserves more respect than what it's given by critics.

Gameplay? Eh, not gonna lie the fighting is pretty basic and I did expect more from the combat aspect and general movement that felt clunky at times with a camera that tends to move into the bushes that just fade a little just in time to see the unicorn monster ive been grinding for its horn to knock me out of the screen. It's serviceable but could have been WAY WAY better if they had more time to tweak what they had.

8.5 out of 10 for me. The main problem me and a lot of players had was the final chapters leading me into a hall to a rather lackluster final boss where the plot thickens WAY TOO FUCKING FAST. That and the entire story can only be told through the special edition, a movie, and anime, and all the DLC with a BOOK to cap the story off nice. I feel like we needed to give this game more time to grow and it could have at LEAST been a 9.5 out of 10.

Incredible graphics.
A lot of games still to this day have a noticeable grainy effect, but in this game everything looks so crisp and clear.

This game really surprised me.
I thought it was kinda messy sometimes and the controls a bit off but overall the story is nice and the graphics are beautiful. For me it's a good game and worth playing.

I like how the Darron Artis Theme still lives on in this game 0:22. The only thing I don’t like about the game is that these guys look like a bunch of teenage college drunk punks, not like your typical Final Fantasy characters.

Ff15 is still one of my favorites despite the broken and cut up story. Noctis is one of my favorite video game characters of all time.

everything about it to me was great even if people hated 15
after i finished the game it left me feeling a little sad when i look at the menu, because i know the journey was over
i need to play episode ardyn and comrades soon but due to problems with my account i need to buy ff royal edition ;-;

I hope what this game got right is brought over to ff16. Combat and narrative delivery were a bit of a mess; but the world was an aesthetic marvel, fun side activities like fishing (still my favorite in any game) were a blast, and the party was the most believably united of any 3D FF game (excluding XIV).
