Donald Trump has returned to the campaign trail for the first time since the apparent assassination attempt.

At the first rally back in Michigan, Trump hailed the Secret Service for making light work of protecting him from the gunman who attempted to shoot him.

Despite blaming the Democrats' "rhetoric" language for "causing him to be shot at", Trump praised Joe Biden after the president asked for security to be strengthened.
