I have a DSL 40CR that I have been thinking about selling and getting something a bit more versatile. With the EL 34s how does this do vs my Marshall for playing Maiden, Priest, Metallica, etc?

I already have the 2nd gen 5150 iii 6l6 head with the concentric knobs. If they add that attenuator that these new el34 combos have to that amp I'm going to have to sell mine and pick it up.

Great playing..ch 3 is always noisy..I have the evh 5150iii head 6l6 .

How about not having a delay hidden in the loop? Gives a false sense of how it really sounds. Friedman does the same when demoing his amps. How about adding the smart gate circuit like what’s in the pedal?
