Dude the g7 is in airplane mode!!! That could totally make all the diff in the world as it's not handling any cell data (even if it didn't have service it was searching, location, etc) I wonder if it would make a diff. I'm about to buy one of the two and I need In my experience ram is everything and anything above a 1.2 quad is going to depend on ram for speed. I've had tablets and phones with massive processors like hexacore pumpkin customs and it always had to do with ram!! Let me know what y'all think!!!!

I have my g2 and still love it. 2 issues, I need 6.0 to access my bank app and updates are not supported on older models "something to consider!" The other is my carrier so I'm switching to cdma which is the only reason I'm looking into a new phone. Had the e1 and couldn't kill it, have the g2 couldn't kill it, Moto is the best!

Moto E5 Plus it's still better it might not be as fast but it has 3GB of RAM and the cameras are better.

The g7 play is pretty fast in person a 14nm chip in a $100.00 phone is pretty impressive.

E5 plus still better. 3gb ram for call of duty mobile when it comes out for game play if anything
