Bruh the making the bed scene kills me, you’re way too pretty and talented to be doing that. I just found your videos tonight and I can see vlog is a major chapter here but I will be following from here on. All I can say is you are stunning and stay beautiful girl. Don’t lose faith.

A super relatable video already from the first minutes. I also just started freelancing and I have the same struggles with the daily activities and the freedom I have with my time planning, especially again today. And everything seems to take super much time and you constantly feel like time is just going...and very few things get done and the struggle of wanting to go to the gym, but also it takes time :D When doing the 9-5 it does not raise these thoughts because that's how it just is :D

I feel you! I’m an entrepreneur and a night owl too. I usually wake up at 9/9:30 and go to bed around midnight. I don’t have any meetings until 11am. I do “boring admin in the morning when I’m still waking up, then eat, then work out until I have meetings. I try to keep my meetings between 2-6pm, and then again 7-8:30pm. I do some work after that until 9ish! It’s weird, but it works for me 🙂

Not saying everything would be perfect, but I can't help but feel if healthcare coverage was more complete in the US that a lot of the stress related to health issues would be alleviated. Thank you for the update and best of luck moving forward!
As for getting work done on open schedules, I tend to just take the day as it comes. Most of my tasks have multiple days before they're due, so when I'm on a roll, I'll tend to work longer as long as I'm in that flow state and then on days where I wake up at 11:40 am because I went to sleep at 4 the night before because I was catching up on anime (lol) It's not a big deal and I can just focus on self-care, which I tend to prioritize over work. I can get to work when my schedule opens up again and work for what I feel is an appropriate amount of time, usually until 6 or 7pm since I start work around 11 or 12.
Obviously for work that's due the same day or emergency issues, I'll just have to bite the bullet and take care of the issues then and there, but I tend to set deadlines for myself with plenty of extra time so I'm usually a day or two ahead of schedule when I finish. Importantly, I almost never submit my work early (the earliest is first thing the day it's due), not just because I want to maintain that buffer time for my future tasks, but also to allow time for me to catch mistakes, review and polish the deliverable.
Hope this helps if it's applicable to your situation, which I admit it may not be.

I've been a mom of a young child for most of my time as a freelancer. It's been difficult but it's also forced me to work when I have time.

The best part of freelancing is making your own schedule. Some days you'll work for 12 hours because you're in the zone. Other days you won't work at all. That's ok as long as you get the work done :)
