The "Mission BC Sasquatch" moniker refers to two different clips released in 2013 through an app called LegendTracker, created by Canada-based develoment and consulting company PlayMobility, depicting two different alleged bigfoot sightings.
The first one was recorded by a group of asian tourists, and the second by two hikers.
Since its inception, the main purpose of LegendTracker was to get users to go into the wild and search for mythical creatures and lost treasures, record their adventures and post them to receive augmented reality rewards.
The clips in question were among the first to be published through the app, and the company proceded to upload them to YouTube and on their corporate website, generating considerable interest across Europe, Australia and the United States.
Due to the visibility gained by the developer, the media and skeptics were quick to dismiss both videos as hoaxes created by PlayMobility as a growth marketing hack.
I analyze both clips in this video. The results may suprise you!
