Anita Anand, Canada's Minister of National Defence, visits Seaspan Vancouver Shipyards
Показать описание
Seaspan had the pleasure of hosting Canada’s Minister of National Defence, Anita Anand, at Seaspan Vancouver Shipyards. Our CEO, John McCarthy, and Senior VP of Operations, Jim Favreau, had the opportunity to highlight our incredibly talented workforce, provide a tour of our modern shipyard, and showcase the recent progress we have made on the two Joint Support Ships Seaspan is currently constructing for the Royal Canadian Navy, vessels which will be critical to helping ensure Canada’s security and sovereignty for decades to come.
We are immensely proud that these ships are being built in Canada, by Canadians, with a Canadian 🍁 supply-chain which spans from coast to coast. As we continue to advance the construction of these supply vessels we appreciate the opportunity to host our government and industry partners at Vancouver Shipyards so they can see first-hand the hard work that is being undertaken here on the North Shore to equip members of the Canadian Armed Forces with the ships they need to protect Canada’s interests.
