don't buy this printer it uses DRM to identify original labels, you can't use any other labels

Good on Dymo for making the e-waste problem even worse for corporate greed. I've blocked our organization from buying dymo again.

Whoever decided to put DRM to sell proprietary paper, proved the aphorism that the difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits. 10 years ago we'd just bypass the RFID, but nowadays I'd say just let DYMO go bankrupt.

Do not buy the Label Writer 550! First, Dymo now puts DRM on their paper to force you to buy their overpriced proprietary paper. Secondly, they basically lie to their customers by reusing old LabelWriter 450 reviews on Amazon for the 550 variant, which is why on Amazon this product has mostly good reviews. Dymo is anti-consumer and dishonest, I won't buy anything anymore that bears the Dymo logo on it, period!

You did not show how to setup anything.. this video barely showed how to download the software.

hi dymo. i hope you will be able to afford the fines for fraudulently using the 5 star reviews from your other products to sell the 550 on amazon. i wonder if your company will survive. using rfid was a crappy move by you and will hurt your reputation. but using fake star rating to sell the 550 as many people go by star rating alone. well that is fraud and can put your company to court and bankrupt the company.
