If it weren't for the unbelievable 50 wins overall, the big news today would be her 35th Slalom win, equaling Marlies Schild, the previous greatest female slalom racer. And closing in on Stenmark's 40.

That's four in a row in second place for Vlhová. It looks like she is not going to fall apart like last season. Beating Shiffrin is bound to happen some time, though I personally hope Mikaela runs away with everything. It isn't even January yet but she's already won seven of the eleven races she's entered.
