Honestly, I'm so happy Disney did this. It shows that not every princess's knight in shiny armour is a big, strong, tall man with dark hair and electric blue eyes. It also shows that you can't live up to every expectation. Kit is a princess, yet she loves another woman and knows that the obligation of her kingdom is to unite with the other kingdom by marrying the prince, but she will always love Jade. I couldn't even imagine the stress. So yes, we have people who expect us to be a certain way, but they can't force us to love a certain person. Don't let anyone tell you who you can and can't love. they're not the dictator of that, no matter what they say. Only God can judge you.
