I feel like Mr. Voice is the deer creature from Misfortunes visions and he’s responsible for all those kids disappearing, probably leading them far from home like how he’s doing with misfortune. I also think “the game” he’s talking about is the game of death that was mentioned on the stone, and the reason Mr. Voice hates Benjamin is because Benjamin is trying to find a way to stop mr. Voice. Additionally, i believe the reason Mr. Voice is telling Misfortune to search for “eternal happiness” is so that he can set him self free “eternal happiness” being probably a way for him to get out of possibly his dimension. I also think those visions misfortune is having are actually visions of the future possibly aftermath of what happens when she sets Mr. Voice free, or maybe that’s just his realm kinda like the upside down from stranger things.

Anyways, Ik this game is old but this is the first time I hear about it and I wanted to share my theory.

34:26: More language trivia! Unless I'm mistaken, Hiro's asking "where is the fog?" or "where is the mist?". Hmm... Something to maybe file away.
(ETA after doing a lil bit of research: it's interesting, because the words are said and not written, meaning you don't precisely know *which* characters or group of characters this "kiri" is written with. I was suspicious, so I dug into this some more; and even though the sentence structure would indicate "mist" or "fog" are the most likely candidates, it's possible we have a double meaning on our hands, as I suspected. In other contexts this word relates to the idea of things ending: it can signify an end, limit or stop, bounds or, in theatre, a last movement or final performance.
... Hope I didn't ramble too much, I just find this pretty neat.)


That Mr Voice fellow definitely seems trustworthy, whatcha mean? ... But more seriously, I *love* how the player and Misfortune are seeing different things, which means their opinion of him has been affected differently.
Speaking of loving things, the parts happening in the city are maybe my favourite ones. Not sure why, maybe it's because they are pretty mundane - unnerving and meaningful details like the mask wearers or the missing chidren pop up all the more against the ordinary background.
