The work to prevent wildfires big and small never ceases. For CCC Shasta Cascade Corpsmembers, it’s an assignment that’s personal—after all this is their community. The Shasta 1 fire crew recently assisted on a controlled burn near Anderson. The goal is simple. Eliminate fire fuels before a wildfire sparks and causes damage. It’s a job these Corpsmembers take seriously.
