I'm a Marine, I served overseas and fought for that flag, so it means a damn lot to me when I see people still flying it. Especially since we vets know who's "real" now.

Same, I have an American flag folded into a neat triangle given to me by some Soldiers during my dad’s funeral. Sometimes the flag can have even more meanings than what people assume.

Also, I think most Americans are middle. And mainstream media has created this quasi-civil war, but everyone I’ve interacted with are just hard working people looking to make through life and take care of their families, no matter what fox or cnn try and make it look like

Lost a close family member recently who had served in the military, so they did the flag ceremony at his funeral. I may not be the stereotypical "guns and trucks and US flag" guy, but I still love this country, and seeing the incredible respect and honor they put on my uncle's name was so beautiful
