I find it so ironic that his song would end up becoming what in my mind is the core of Bayverse Optimus Prime. He’s as human as the humans he swore to protect. He does things wrong, his anger gets ahead of him and he kills, cybertronian and human. All he has left to do is either fully embrace the monster, what he has done, what he has become and reign as Nemesis Prime…

Or he can face himself, and cross out what he’s done and start again. As the good natured leader he was meant to be
