Downtown Las Vegas is the best part of Vegas. I would also try staying at the English hotel in the Arts District. It gives you a good place to relax and it's not too far Fremont and you get all Arts District coffee shops, restaurants and art galleries!

Great picks! Circa is definitely my favorite for the modern vibe, but El Cortez has that classic Vegas charm.

During the colder months when pools aren't the objective. Binion's has become my go-to property on Fremont. It's cheap, loud, basic but it's got character to it. Plus the Country Fried Steak at the cafe cannot be beat.

Every visitor to Vegas should watch this video. As a local I avoid the Strip and it's ridiculous high prices. Freemont Street is kind of a mess but East Freemont (where the El Cortez is) is super cool and the Art District, which is close by, is a must visit with a lot a great restaurants, bars and some interesting shopping. I love the way you catch the essense of each hotel in a matter of minutes. Makes a choice easy.

I love the vibe at Plaza, the casino at El Cortez, and the location of Golden Nugget. Circa is a little too out of my price range, and unfortunately I didn't have a great experience. I would definitely stay at the Plaza again! Thanks for the video!

I heard El Cortez has a complimentary airport shuttle & early check in, as long as your room is ready. I love the eclectic old downtown, so I think I'll try staying there some time!

If you're going to stay at the El Cortez you really should stay in the original rooms. They're cheap and you're close to the casino.

I've been going to Vegas twice a year for over 40 years. How you could leave the Downtown Grand off your list is baffling to me. Circa is by far the nicest resort hotel but loud and very expensive with the cheapest rooms, at the cheapest times, right around $300 a night. The Golden Nugget used to be the crown jewel of Fremont Street years ago but hasn't been renovated in some time and several rooms are in need of a refresh and seem very dark. Even while the room quality is in decline, prices remain relatively high, and most are loud while the casino and pool areas are way too crowded. The Plaza is nice but very basic and some rooms can be very loud. El Cortez is a good choice as well but, it's a couple blocks away from the Canopy and the walk can be sketchy, especially at night. The Downtown Grand is a short block north of Fremont Street. The Fremont Hotel is right across the street for quick and safe access to the Fremont Street festivities, but the rooms are far enough away for a quiet night of rest. Rooms are renovated, very clean and reasonably priced. The casino is filled with some of the lowest table minimums and best odds with a friendly atmosphere and never really feels crowded.

Love the reviews and I’m a strip guy 👍

The one thing they don't talk about at the Circa is the price, it cost just as much as a strip hotel, even though it's an adult only hotel it;s kind of bothersome to show your I.D. when ever you enter that hotel.

Love your videos but frankly I’m over Vegas. I’d rather seek quiet, remote adventures.
