Hey Parker, a quick look with a FLIR thermal camera in that panel would reveal these sorts of issue in a heartbeat. Would also be perfect to quickly check bearings, motors, gearboxes etc. all before they stop, burn up, seize or get "flaky"... Well worth the cost as a preventative & fault finding tool. This instrument is also really handy with hydraulics & also really good for other machines like excavators, trucks, dozers, generators, pumps... a thousand bucks of prevention is better than a hundred grand of failure...

Now that tailings can be touched it might work if a big Cat got on top and pushed it along to a point where 3 smaller wash plants catch the material being pushed at them. 3 wash plants means 1 stops and the other two keep working. Putting them on rails is so the Cat can push them forward when a move is justified. The gold bearing material would enter a circular take that is a bigger version of a gold wheel. Clean out is by dialing up a higher rpm and lowering the tilt angle. Tailings use belts (with chain-mail for wear plates and end rails that adjust to different grades, etc. The stackers can follow a 3D map (courtesy Canada Mines and Minerals )
That is the 'final product', one that is wild-life friendly as well as the waterways are sculpted to catch any gold that may wash down. It is for the tourists. The 'invasive method is done once and it is vacuumed clean before the reclamation part starts. Mining lease expires, tourism lease for cabins and day vehicle passes. Cabins that a bear-proof, including security cameras that cover the whole yard and then some. Most people would do the 'Bed and Breakfast' thing in the 'restored to 'old days time of Dawson', the new steam boats are fast moving hovercrafts that usually haul heavy freight all the way from the river's outlet.

Parker needs to learn to stop pushing his equipment to the limit so much. Otherwise, he’s going to end up like the Hoffmanns and Fred Lewis and spend more time repairing equipment than catching gold.
