Thanks JP. As much as I hate what the US has done recently, I am wondering if some of this - exiting Kursk, dropping support, was designed to make it look like Russia was being offered a ceasefire closer to their terms than to Ukraine's - but not overly so. If Russia balks now it should be hard to keep defending Russian stance that they want peace (not that anybody thinks they do). Truth will be what happens if Russia fails to engage.

The ceasefire deal is almost calling Russia's bluff. I think Ukraine have calculated that Russia will say No.

I am getting pissed about the Captured Equipment! 2 Bradleys Captured, WTF! Absolutely NO Reason for it. I preached and Preached about this. With all the Drones in Ukraine and along the Frontlines, if we were ever having to evacuate and couldn't take everything with us, I made it my Mission at least in My Brigade, that we leave NOTHING USEFUL BEHIND, AT ANY MEANS NEEDED! If Russia were to re-engineer the Bradley, Ukraine will have a Much harder and deadlier time trying to win this war. You cannot give the Enemy "The Most Valuable Piece of Equipment in Ukraine for Killing Russian Equipment & Personnel...

sorry to double comment, but maybe Z agreed to the american demand of a TOTAL cease-fire because it actually made it more likely that russia would say no, because Z doesnt want it to happen YET.
