How to Draw a Swallow - Tattoo Design Style

How to draw a sparrow holding a banner in a tattoo design style.

You will see me first draft out the sparrow using a HB pencil, and then once I'm happy with it I then draw around the design using a fine line pen. I then shade in the design with prismacolor pencils.

Materials used: HB pencil, fine line pens (1.0) and (5.0) 110lb card stock, prismacolored pencils and kneaded erasers.

It's just practice mate.. I always steady myself with my other hand though by placing it on the table.. But really it's just lot's of practice which builds your confidence.. And then before you know it your doing it without even thinking... I'm sorry I can't be more help... I really appreciate your comment, thanks!

Sure, but do you have anything in mind? I've covered more or less all the shapes I think.. haha... I was thinking of doing a couple more impossible triangle vids.. Maybe two connected together... One a tattoo style e.t.c.... I guess an impossible heart shape be cool... Anyways thanks for your interest.. Much appreciated!

Awesome Drawing mate! Got any tips on how I could draw cleaner, straighter lines. When you do it with that fine liner you do it perfectly. Mine always turn out wobbly and bulgy.
