another show where alex voices half the cast and hides mysterys and codes literally every frame and are probably goijg to release a bestselling novel with more mysteries and we might get another version of the cipher hunt, thats a mouthful eh?

I can't be the only one who thinks stan pines the owl lady is his ex wife remember the episode "the land before the swins" during that episode he give details about his ex wife and he described her while they were around the time in las vegas then there a part what he say i guess her name was fake and her hair to and this is the part when he described her: 'That pale bingo hall skin. That weirdly sharp tooth." This perfectly describe eda and the box set came out in 2018, around the the time they announced the owl house was in the making. Eda is stan lee ex-wife even so on the episode on "lost legends" Eda has a wanted poster in gravity falls seeing that have even more proof that eda is stan pines ex-wife. This gives all the credits to the owner.

Ok season 1 ended, here's my review: Ok before it start you need to know a few things 1. I decided to watch the show on my own terms 2. I'm a guy and 3. I'm NOT gay so coming from a regular guy here's what I have to say. So much potential wasted, the shows not bad but not good either, the major problems i found where 1. Writing, characters talk and do actions that seem forced, unhuman and generally boring when it comes to jokes (well get to it later) and 2. The pacing, some episodes had good potential but out of all episodes I can say there's ONE with a flow like pacing which didn't slowdown or speed up, episode 15. Understanding Willow, the best episode, 9/10, but apart from that episode the general format is strange to say the least, it will slow down extremely for seconds for A. Jokes and B. Romance, it makes most episodes feel like a Rollercoaster where so much happens and is somehow still given very little attention at each individual part and it doesn't end, many episode they gloss over things and try to "wrap" the episode but leave so many plot holes and make more questions than answers, but even bad pacing shouldn't ruin a show, so what does. Everything else, from bland white bread characters INCLUDING THE PROTAGONIST who are judt there to tell her what she needs to know for the episode and for comedic value, they have no personality and are simply uninteresting, the major of these are Guz, Willow and *amity*, now I don't hate her character but im uninterested, her romance with luz is straight up dumb, it doesn't make sense how quickly those roles where changed, by the mid season it was clear they're a thing even if luz was clueless, and the pacing being attached to it makes me like it even less, her surroundings are interesting like her parents, past, and overall who she's with but not her as a character. The jokes, the jokes don't hit, theres no new jokes based on where they're at and when they do happen they're boring and just stupid, overall id say the show still has potential but with the plot holes, poorly written and executed episode it judt seems like talent wasted, final score: 4/10
