Appreciate your comments about the beginnings of EMR, and the challenges we faced. I’m a PT (going on 34 years), and when our written records were transitioning to EMR, I started to rebel for the same privacy reasons you brought up. Im really glad I found your channel sir, finally I have found someone online presenting a case for privacy and doing it in a no bullshit way ( actually pointing out how much privacy we have voluntarily given up in such a short period of time). Rob could not agree more with every word you say here and I advise people to LISTEN and take note especially that I have been involved in IT since 1982 which is coming up to 40 years and I deeply regret the zealot nature especially being a teacher to children and then a Senior Microsoft Certified Trainer, IT Consultant and Presenter that help established the moronic acceptance and ignorance, that you so well talk about on here. Even when Facebook came out in 2004 it dawned on me that getting people to put all their personal information especially 'likes' that with my understanding and teaching of database- this could be abused and sold to companies for marketing purposes. Your point Rob about people stating it was Big Brother to have identity cards especially with chips in, for some unbelievable reason were happy to always have mobile phones that pinpointed their location and on making a purchase with them how much and what they had bought. The irony is that between 1939-45 we have a world wide war where millions were killed and many brave men died in their belief they did so for the right of freedom - which surreptitiously and slowly has been taken away from us. As such I don't have Facebook, Twitter and have always used a VPN and anti-hacking software even from the early days unfortunately to survive in today's world I do have a mobile because so often to fight the hackers the companies force us to respond to text messages. But I do despair at the loss drone souls where the whole day even waking their head are bowed in servitude to tapping inane and banal rubbish (ie sending photos of their food). Yes I often write on here but reaching 70 and ill, my rants I doubt come high on any AI detection system. Your three points could not have been put better and as an ex teacher from industry should be taught as standard in schools because even though fantasy the point of the film The Matrix is becoming a fact. The tragedy is and I see it so much especially in music, films, TV, news is the drip drip of dumbing down mankind to the point we no longer question but just accept. In a way we are now no more than the sheep and cows we look after, so we can eat because the very intelligent who want to use their intelligence in their thirst for money, power and control in controlling us, so our energies (ie buying, watching, reading, working) can be converted into that thirst for money, power and control. Sadly and why I feel so bad I helped bring it all in, it is TOO LATE because even though we have intelligent experienced of IT advanced systems (far more than mine) whistle-blowers no one is listening to. MS, Google, Twitter is like a giant elephant that see you as an annoying fly which as the growing 'cancelling' culture grows (ie an USA President) in time will bar you.
