This video looks and sounds like it was made in 2016 rather than 2009!

This episode is like one of those old "How to" Goofy Cartoons =). Disney needs to make more of those.

It amazing what videos carve themselves into peoples souls, and even if they are forgotten they will always be part of them

I bought my first NES in 1990, and I'm still using it. It has never once required a software upgrade, never interrupted my game play with a single pop-up advertisement, or leaked any private information to anyone, anywhere, ever, and it doesn't track me when I take a road trip. I like it just fine. If the screen blinks, just shift the cartridge back and forth a bit.

I have a question. I just got a nes console and I can get the sound to work. But no video. What do I need to do? Do I need and old tv? Or an adapter of some sort? Please please please help.

Oh man that's awesome. I remember jamming a game pak on top of the cradle to get a game to work. I didn't think anyone else did that!

@shamoozal Hehe, that's even more awesome then if you didn't see that until after!

2:32 That scene reminds me a lot of He Man and the Masters of the Universe for some reason.

APRIL 11 2019 EDIT: I'm quite certain that scene was supposed to parody He Man.

You can hook it up with rca cables as well. If you have a stereo as your sound source, it will only play through one speaker however. I got a splitter rca and play it in mono surround. It's pretty epic.

What was the glorious music that started at 2:40??

I have always had to blow on the cartridges, and now I still have to. I have had mine for nearly 18 years now. Still play it all the time!

I remember going behind the tv with a screwdriver so I could connect the converter to the tv so I could connect the nes. And NES cartrige blowing was a art because you had to make sure you weren't sprinkling it with spit also. Between that and finding another object to stick in it to keep the cartridge in the exact right spot (game genie seems to help the best in connection). It was a great time!

That's a huge power adapter. What do you think this is, the Colecovision?
