I absolutely love, love, love RuPaul! From the first time I saw RuPaul in drag (early 90s, on an MTV show), I wanted to grow up to be her!
I love how RuPaul is quite introverted in day to day life, but is able to perform with her all. It is a skill i wish I could master.
Aside from all the love...i wish no one had called the Republicans "weird."
I, myself, allies, outsiders, growing up, was considered a "weirdo."
I equate the term to be an open, empathetic person that did not fit in to societal norms.
Please do not take the term away and give it to those who only care for themselves.
