SVA 2022 Second Year Fall Animation Reel

Reel of my animation assignments from my first semester of second year classes! Mainly first, as second semester was when all we did was our films, and I had a much different understanding of animation following all of these assignments that wouldn't fit in this reel!

Some 2nd year exercises included:
- Animal walk
- Animal fly
- Animating an effect
- Animating to a song (timing)
- Acting in animation (Emphasizing reference video the most)
- Turnaround preproduction for film!
The DND animation was a personal one referenced of an oddly dynamic shot in "My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes lead to Doom!"

As opposed to the try-hard mentality of first year, you can see that a lot of the work here is much more scrappy as I figure out the "process" of animating. I think I didn't even grasp the full meaning of breakdowns/inbetweens until that daffy duck assignment at the end. I also think it's important to record your growth no matter how scrappy you think it is now!
