With the water temperature at just 10 degrees Celsius, cold-water swimming has proven health benefits, like boosting your metabolism, improving circulation, and strengthening your immune system.

The sessions at Albert Avenue Pools, were hugely popular last winter with over 1,800 visits, so this year they’ve added even more opportunities for you to dive in.

Two new early morning sessions have started on Tuesdays, alongside the regular Friday evening and weekend morning sessions. They’re also planning some extra sessions over the festive period.

Cold-water sessions are open to anyone aged 18 or over, but just check with a health professional first if you have any health concerns.

Sessions are included with membership or just £6 for non-members. It's best to book online to guarantee a place, but you can just turn up if you wish.
