How to open a Combination Cable Lock

If the cable lock has 3 rings and 10 numbers on each ring, that means that there are maximum 10x10x10=1000 possible combinations. (5-10 minutes to open by a brute force method).
If there are 4 rings (4 rows of numbers) than you have to guess 10 times more possibilities (max 10000).
