Shopping your personal closet is the best place to explore because it’s curated by you for you. Exploring pieces and brining them back to life is always highly enjoyable. They can also bring back good memories. I’d love a closer tour, clear out. I enjoyed the update of your thoughts on pieces from your closet. I’ve been bringing out some sneakers out of my closet. I’ve been hooked on the same two pairs and realized I have others that I still love.

Such a genius idea of yours to reexplore your own closet! We all tend to binge shop so much that we often forget all the hidden treasures we already own!
I think your Chanel jacket's length already looks perfect on you. Have you been too influenced by current fashion trends? It is a classic preppy men's jacket from the late 2000s and nobody were doing cropped jacket for men at the time (and rightfully so, as cropped cuts do look weird on male figures imho).
Your Tom Ford tuxedo jacket is also perfection! You could easily pull it off again next spring: if you want to reach for it, just break its dressy vibes by tucking the sleeves, add a very basic Supima cotton tee or a well-cut and luxurious tank top underneath, paired with some straight leg/ boot cut denim.
You can never go wrong with black under camel colors! Just add some gold jewelry here and there to complete the look and you will be good to go!
I can't agree more with you about Hermès menswear. I also often look like a grandpa with their clothes on. My theory is that their style looks the best only on very tall and very skinny early 20s boys! The last piece I got from their sales earlier this year was a black sheepskin/ lambskin / cashmere sweater. It is visually a fantastic piece, the quality is outstanding and it may be the warmest clothe I have ever owned but I still look like I am in my late 50s with this on! Yep, you surely made a huge mistake by eventually falling for this Hermès top. I think I had seen similar style several times in the past from brands such as Yojhi Yamamoto, Berluti circa pre-2016, Joseph, Prada, Costume National... Your Finesse and Kelly pocket wallet were good picks though. Hopefully you will give them justice more often in 2023!
With the freezing weather we've been through lately, no wonder you haven't reached for your mini bags recently: because they weren't originally conceived for men's proportions, they look decent only with the least clothes on, aka during SS. I am sure you will go back to them when it will get warmer.
As sad as it may sound, I have neglected 95% of my wardrobe in 2022!? I just happen not to reach for any of my stuffs (except for my fine jewelry bracelets & Chanel sneakers) as they don't suit my lifestyle anymore.I am still more than happy to have a look at my dressing every night and every morning though, as my bed is facing my closet...

I don’t watch many people who identify as male YouTubers, but I have to say, your taste level is beyond, and I’m just obsessed with every piece you pull out. I don’t shop luxury, simple bald headed giant bear living in the Midwest who wears mostly Carhartt. But I dream of owing the most perfectly cut black boucle Chanel jacket, and your black Hermes leather goods collection js possible the chicest on YouTube. I work at a hospital and wonder how I could incorporate a Kelley wallet or Kelly to go into my wardrobe lol. And you shop The Row and Celine! I couldn’t love your content anymore. Agreed on the mini Kelly... i have the same color and leather in a 25 and it is definitely my all time favorite. I'm trying to decide what color i want my mini Kelly in... maybe gold on gold? Would love barenia. 😅

The Kelly Pocket Compact is still being made and does show up online every once in a while... i snagged 2 of them recently at my local boutique also... but they get snapped up so so fast online!!!

Would it be cheaper to buy a new jacket rather than re-tailoring? I rather like the look of it on you, but that is no use since you are the one wearing it! I would very much enjoy a video made in your closet. For me, YouTube is about 'normal every day' people making videos, so I do not demand the level of technical brilliance which is a basic requirement from a professionally made piece. Just my thought.
