I bought a kindle for my birthday and since then, I've been reading SO MUCH. Its just so easy to carry around and I don't leave it at home because it's "too bulky/heavy". 😊

My opinion: once you've experience a higher quality bag, it's difficult to use budget options. This is for a few reasons:
1. Sustainablity - In general, buying a bag you can use for a lifetime is more sustainable than buying budget ones every few years.
2. Day-today Use - It just feels better to have something quality that you touch and carry every day.
3. Budget over time - You will eventually save more when you buy quality over time.
4. Emotion - I'd like to be perceived as someone who invests in higher quality goods and to set a good example for my young nephews. Remember, buy nice or buy twice.

Much too small for a weekend bag. Maybe for just overnight ... your bag was stuffed to the gills, and I can't imagine your clothes would look any kind of presentable after being squished like that for a few hours travel.

Maybe as an every day carry....
