remember the difference between purpose and functionality:

The purpose is the motive/reason of creating this program/code (ex: the purpose of the function is to INFORM puppy owners of the expenses used on puppy services, or approximate yearly costs of raising an adult dog.)

The functionality is what the program/code can do (ex: the functionality includes the user inputting the expenses used per month, and calculating and displaying the yearly expected cost/another functionality would be alerting the user by displaying "wow! your expenses are high" if the yearly expense exceeds $2000.)

my recommendation: take time to read the chief reader, which includes the ways students earn a point/reasons why a student do not earn a point on the rubric.
