Trump calls Trudeau 'two-faced' after video shows him, other leaders 'mocking' president

U.S. President Donald Trump called Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau "two-faced" after a video appeared to show him and other world leaders apparently talking candidly about the president.

Trump then went on to say he had called out Canada for not paying two per cent in NATO spending, and said he was Trudeau "wasn't happy about that."

Canada spends 1.2 percent of its GDP on defence. But a significant portion of that money has been spent on troops and equipment in the battle fields of Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, etc. As well as continuous naval support in the Gulf. That's the part Trump can not understand. It isn't just about spending 2 percent on your own defence. It is also about committing troops and materials in those conflict areas. The USA is not NATO. No country owes America one penny for NATO. If America chooses to leave, NATO will not crumble. What will happen is that America will loose its Veto power and not have a seat at the table. That means the Americans would no longer have support for its economic sanctions against Iran and Venezuela. It would also no longer have preferential treatment at European military bases and ports. Then countries like Ukraine and Turkey will be free to purchase equipment cheaper and better from other countries rather than the over priced crap America forces them to buy today. So go ahead Trump - shoot your pie hole off some more. The World is realizing that they don't need America.
