I had varicose vain surgery around 10 years ago. Over the last 6-12 months they have returned and are worse now than before. I read online that new treatments are now available for varicose vains, that are better and do not involve surgery.
I scheduled an appointment with my doctor today and he told me bluntly that varicose vain treatment is no longer available on the NHS! I'm furious.
I am on my feet all day with my job, and my legs ache so much! How can the NHS cut back on funding for this!?

Thats ridiculous. Why does it have to become a medical problem, before something is done??? I mean we talk £1500 per treatment and it can even get more. I don't understand why this is not taken more serious.
