Romano Solano double bass built in 2008, David Herman (Jira) Baroque bass bow, entire Suite performed in D using solo strings with 1/2 step scordatura.

Are the ribs and body shaped different than normal? It seems a tiny bit smaller and thus maybe a contributing factor to a brighter sound?
