Well this was unexpected!

It has been officially confirmed that the new Lamborghini flagship will be fitted with a V-12 following a strong tradition of big, V-12 powered Lamborghinis such as the Miura, Countach, Diablo, Murcielago, and of course the Aventador.
It will still be naturally aspirated, however most likely with a lower displacement compared to the current 6.5-liter V-12 in order to reduce emissions and meet regulation standards.
This new big brother Lambo will get a spark to its V-12 since it will be a hybrid powertrain with an electric motor. It’s going to have an all new powertrain that won’t be shared with other Lamborghini mild hybrids such as the limited-production Sián and Countach.
Some of the specs we can expect include a power output of over 800hp, all wheel drive and all wheel steering along with active aerodynamics both front and rear.
We’re expected to see the launch of this new V-12 Lambo sometime in 2023 alongside a facelifted Urus Evo. There will also be a new hybrid baby Lamborghini following the Huracan in 2024 and a fully electric Lamborghini is expected to arrive in 2027.
