If volume doesn't increase and major buying doesn't start we are gonna stay right in this channel we are in and have been in. The sentiment just isnt there anymore like it was. People may not be selling but they sure as hell aren't buying anymore. I think most of us have built out our positions and aren't interested in buying more or at least buying like we were to put the pressures on these shorts. If we get killer earnings again and some groundbreaking news is announced from the company and we dont rise substantially then its gonna be a long long long time before there is any squeeze if ever

a hedgie being long PUTS is not short interest Period! its a bet the stock price drops, but being long a PUT has an end date, it requires no margin, has no cost to borrow- So if some hedgefunds that were short the stock covered the short, and are now betting on a drop in the PUT its not shorts and it would not cause a squeeze - A gamestop venture that actually results in increases earnings or revenue to AMC is very unlikely -what is the joint business they could enter together??? seriously? what? AMC has held the support line all week...technically it is not in fantastic shape unless it can get up off the mat here quick- Banning PFOF would be great- but bye bye free trades volatility will go up also - great for day traders....may not help long term holders as much as is expected- changes in settle and market structure will take time, and input from many institutional participants- its not going to be months folks- Settle used to be T+5 it took years of discussion to go to T+2 -
