Home Improvement is an American sitcom starring Tim Allen that ran on ABC from September 17, 1991, to May 25, 1999, covering eight seasons and 204 half-hour episodes. Matt Williams, Carmen Finestra, and David McFadzean conceived the show. It was one of the most popular sitcoms in the United States in the 1990s, garnering numerous honors. The series established Tim Allen's acting career, as well as Pamela Anderson's television career, as she was a recurrent cast member for the first two seasons.
