Faith, Hope & Love - The Tango - Robert Krantz and Peta Murgatroyd

We shot this the last night of filming Faith, Hope & Love.

It's been awhile, but I swear I don't recall Peta and I rehearsing this number a lot. Maybe we did and I just can't remember it.

What I do remember is while we were warming up to film the scene, I felt something start to tear in my left calf. I said, "God, please, you can tear it all you want tomorrow, but just not now." Fortunately, it didn't get any worse.

One of the ongoing concerns I had in pre-production was if a tango would be the best dance for Jimmy and Faith to dance as the last dance. I talked to Michelle Crispin (the music supervisor) about that a lot.

In the end, I think it was a great choice and I think it came out very good.

Incredible. It was a special scene in the movie…perfect….inspiring, uplifting, moving…and so believable and a great culmination of their relationship…thank you for all you do to help us have a respite to our day to day lives and a little joy….🤍
