Honestly this song always chokes me up. The metaphor of love and aging as a landslide in winter is just poetic perfection particularly in the way Stevie sings it as a meditation on life.

Stevie Nicks is a treasure. She has a magnificent rasp in her voice that gives me the feeling that she is an old soul, full of wisdom. This song and "Edge of Seventeen" are probably my favorites.

Biss, fyi autotune only came available in 1999 so any song recorded before then does not have it. So what you hear on the studio recordings is their actual voice, so you needn't go, only for live preformances, to hear their unaided voice. Love your reactions.

My favorite Stevie Nicks song about her relationship with Lindsey. It is so poignant, beautiful and soothing though the story is sad yet inspiring. Came out in 1975, the year I graduated from high school and it still makes me smile, reflect and yes, sometimes shed a tear. We love you Stevie.

The studio recording of "Landslide" can be found on the album entitled, "Fleetwood Mac", released in 1975. Fleetwood Mac's music would be a great rabbit hole for you to explore. They were a legendary band that had a late 60s and early 70s origin. Stevie Nicks was part of the 1975 - on version of the group. Their follow-up album, "Rumours", was released in 1977. It was certified 20X multi-Platinum, which is higher than a Gold rating. The album boasted several hits, penned by their keyboard player, the late Christine McVie. Her hits are instantly recognizable.
